Lil Eazy The Son of the late Eazy-E Stopped by the Hip Hop Uncensored podcast to speak candidly about his conversation with Jerry Heller About His Fathers Eazy-E's Death.known professionally as Eazy-E, was an American rapper, songwriter, record producer, and entrepreneur who propelled West Coast rap and gangsta rap by leading the group N.W.A and its label, Ruthless Records, pushing the boundaries of lyrical content. Born and raised in Compton, California, Wright had several legal troubles before founding Ruthless in 1987.[5] After a short solo career with frequent collaboration with Ice Cube and Dr. Dre, they joined, forming N.W.A, later that year. N.W.A's debut studio album, Straight Outta Compton, was released in 1988. Controversial upon release, it is now ranked among the greatest and most influential albums. The group released its third and final studio album, Niggaz4Life, in 1991, and soon after disbanded. During N.W.A's splintering, largely by disputes over money, Eazy-E became embroiled in bitter rivalries with Ice Cube and Dr. Dre, who had departed for solo careers in 1989 and 1991, respectively. Resuming his solo career, Eazy-E released two EPs.[6] Yet he remained more significant behind the scenes, signing and nationally debuting the rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony from 1993 to 1994. In 1995, Eazy-E was suddenly hospitalized and diagnosed with AIDS, and died due to its complications. Dr. Dre recalls: "The split came when Jerry Heller got involved. He played the divide and conquer game. Instead of taking care of everybody, he picked one nigga to take care of and that was Eazy. And Eazy was like, 'I'm taken care of, so fuck it'." Dr. Dre and The D.O.C. sent Suge Knight to look into Eazy-E's financial situation as they began to grow suspicious of Eazy-E and Jerry Heller. Dr. Dre and The D.O.C. asked Eazy-E to release him from Ruthless, but Eazy-E refused. The impasse led to what reportedly transpired between Suge Knight and Eazy-E at the recording studio where Niggaz4life was recorded. After he refused to release Dr. Dre and The D.O.C., Suge Knight told Eazy-E that he had kidnapped Jerry Heller and was holding him prisoner in a van. This did not convince Eazy-E to release Dr. Dre and The D.O.C. from Ruthless, and Suge Knight threatened Eazy-E's family: Suge Knight gave Eazy-E a piece of paper that contained Eazy's mother's address, telling him, "I know where your mama stays." Houston Hip Hop Mogul J Prince Left A Message On His Instagram about former DEA Agent Chad Scott, Houston-based DEA agent Chad A. Scott had been called out for corruption by both J. Prince and Scarface. Turns out they were correct, as Scott has been found guilty on two counts of perjury, three counts of obstruction of justice and two counts of falsifying government records. According to the evidence presented during the seven-day trial, Scott, while a DEA special agent in New Orleans, committed these crimes in and around the New Orleans, Louisiana, and Houston, Texas, areas," reads a Justice Department press release. " Specifically, the evidence showed that Scott directed a Houston-based drug trafficker to buy a Ford F-150 truck worth approximately $43,000 and forfeit the truck to Scott as part of the drug trafficker’s cooperation. Scott then falsified the seizure paperwork for the truck in various aspects, including falsely claiming that he had seized the truck in New Orleans instead of Houston, in order to facilitate the vehicle being forfeited and given to Scott as his official government vehicle." Lil Eazy asserts his family doesnt believe the official cause of Death of Eazy-E.better known by his stage names Lil Eazy-E and Lil Eazy, is an American musician and HIV activist. He is CEO of NWA Entertainment, LLC, a music and media production company in which he is partners with his brother, Derrek Wright, and Lisa Marcum. He also manages Compton MoneyGang, a musical collaboration with his brother Derrek and members of his family. The oldest son of gangsta rap pioneer Eazy-E, he was born and raised in the same Compton, California house his father grew up in.He first appeared in the hip hop scene with Daz Dillinger, during which time an independent album release was expected. However, as no contract was actually signed, this led to an eventual feud between the two rappers. Lil Eazy-E has performed duets with rappers such as Static Major, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Timbaland and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. On September 13, 2012, it was reported that Lil Eazy-E was reportedly in contract negotiations with Death Row Records. Previously signed to Virgin Records in the mid-2000s, the new deal with Hoopla Worldwide would controversially be distributed through Death Row Records. The story was then publicly announced to have been misquoted stating he was only in talks with Hoopla records to record an LP, which would be distributed through Wide Awake Entertainment, the company which bought Death Row Records. Due to the story that was taken out of context, the artist backed off from the deal and stated he is and always will be "Ruthless Records For Life" [5] Due to poor management from his A&R and management team, and being shelved by the labels he was signed to because of it, Lil Eazy E announced in the summer of 2012 that he would be releasing all ties with his past management team and the Kings of L.A. label he had been in a partnership with. He has since become his own manager and CEO of the production company NWA Entertainment and new partners. U.S. District Judge David M. Lawson reduced Meech's sentence from 360 months to 324 months. Under the USSG amendments 782 and 788, Meech met the criteria under the revised drug quantity and chemical quantity tables for drug offenses. The new amendment can be applied to all drug cases after November 1, 2014, making Meech eligible. This sentence reduction comes on the heels of Meech being denied a "compassionate release" last year during the coronavirus outbreak. Meech's brother, Terry "Southwest T" Flenory was granted compassionate release last year. Meech was originally scheduled to be released in November 2031 but will be released in 2028. This past weekend, news surfaced noting that rapper Polo G was arrested in Miami, along with his brother, girlfriend, and security team. The Hillsborough County Medical Examiner has revealed the official cause of death for Digital Underground co-founder Shock G, with a rep from the medical examiner's office stating that he died from an accidental overdose of fentanyl, ethanol (alcohol), and methamphetamine. Shock G, 57, was found unresponsive by a Tampa hotel manager in his room on April 22, with the manager adding that he had last seen the rapper alive the day before. The manager decided to check on Shock G after he missed his check-out time, and he immediately called 911 after finding him in the room. Shock G was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:20 PM ET. Rapper Pooh Shiesty surrendered Tuesday to face a criminal charge from a shooting that allegedly happened over the Memorial Day weekend at a strip club in Northwest Miami-Dade. The rapper, whose real name is Lontrell Williams, 21, was booked into a Miami-Dade jail on an aggravated battery charge, jail records show. According to an arrest warrant obtained by the Miami Herald, Williams shot a security guard in the leg. The incident happened on May 30 at the King of Diamonds strip club in Northwest Miami-Dade during the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Video surfaced on Instagram of him walking out of a show at the club with a weapon. Four women have accused the celebrity pair of drugging and sexually assaulting them, including two instances of rape that were said to have occurred in Georgia and California, according to the letters sent on Feb. 19 by the lawyer, Tyrone A. Blackburn, to state and federal prosecutors in both states. Similar letters were sent to the attorneys general in those states. Mr. Blackburn, a New York-based lawyer, said that the “eerily similar” experiences spanned more than a decade, beginning in 2005; the most recent allegation of sexual abuse occurred in 2017 or 2018, he said. None of the women involved know one another, but described “sexual abuse, forced ingestion of illegal narcotics, kidnapping, terroristic threats and false imprisonment” at the behest of T.I., Ms. Harris and their associates or employees, Mr. Blackburn wrote. His letters also included instances of nonsexual intimidation, assault and harassment. As loyal G-Unit fans rushed to consume the 18-track project, they were likely searching for any reference to G-Unit boss 50 Cent. In 50 Cent’s book Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter, the rapper-turned-television executive called Banks lazy, something that evidently didn’t sit right with him.
